If you’re like me, then all you knew about Teami Blends is that they are a company that’s really good at promoting on social media and that they sell detox and skinny teas.

And I’m not interested in NONE of that personally.

But when they reached out and explained to me all the products they have to offer and their goals as a company, I was intrigued and decided to give them a go and share my experience with you all.

While Teami does offer a long line of premium teas, I choose to try and review their green tea Detox Mask. Mainly because I had NO IDEA–like at all, that they had skin care products (and a nice range at that!). And ya’ll know how much I’m into skin care; so I thought it would be cool to compare it to some of the other products that I enjoy using.

While I did receive this product for free for review purposes, all the opinions listed below are my own. So lets jump into this!

Shipping + Packaging

So Teami does sell some of their products in stores. But I still view them as more of an online shop. So shipping is is a big deal for me.

I placed my order with them on the 3rd (a Thursday) , it shipped out the next day (Friday), and arrived on the 9th (Wednesday). So it only took 3 business days to get to my door. It’s not Amazon Prime 2 hour shipping, but that’s still pretty darn quick!

My mask arrived in a package small enough to fin in my mail box, but still big enough to have bubble wrap in it to protect it from damage, which I appreciated a lot.

The Product

The first thing you notice when you open up this mask is it’s beautiful aroma. The product is made from match, clay and lemongrass and those smells come through in the most wonderful way!

It’s almost therapeutic, and I can see using this mask to relax in a bath as a really good way to unwind from the day.

The consistency of the mask is smooth and thick, which makes it easy to apply. When your face is damp, the mask goes on easy and it doesn’t take much to cover your face, meaning that this product will go a long way.

They recommend applying and even layer to the face and neck, avoiding the eyes and leaving for 10-15 minutes.

As this mask was drying, I could feel it pulling my skin taunt– which I imagine means its working. But at no point was it ever uncomfortable. Ive hard several masks that I’ve over all enjoyed but the drying down process just irritated my skin. So I’m glad to report that this isn’t the case here.

After my mask dried, I washed it off with warm, damp wash cloth. The mask was pretty good and tight on my face, so I needed to scrub a bit to get it off.

But once the mask was off, my skin was GLOWING! a lot of times, especially with clay mask, I notice that my skin get pretty dry afterwards and I immediately have to follow up with a moisturizer. But I was pleasantly surprised that wasn’t he case here. After the mask came off, my skin was left feeling smooth, supple and hydrated.

Overall Thoughts

This mask has quickly become one of my favorites for a few reasons.

The first being price. At $29.99, the Green Tea Detox Mask is decently priced for the caliber and amount of product you’re getting. The average price for a clay mask on Sephora is around $45 (with some topping $175 for the same amount!), so we’re getting a good deal here.

I was also very pleased with the aroma. I haven’t used a mask that has had a bad smell before, but generally the smell is like–‘meh’. Which is okay, because you don’t buy mask for the scent. But having that strong but pleasant aroma with the mask just added a whole new level of relaxation and made me feel like I was at a spa.

Most importantly, the performance of this mask is amazing. Since clay mask are known to be mattifiying, I was a bit worried that this would leave my skin dry. Instead, it left my face feeling hydrated-which is awesome, especially since we’re still in winter time.

If you’re in the market for a clay mask to pamper yourself, then this one comes HIGHLY recommended by me.

Is there any other skincare product that you would like for me to try? Just let mw know!
