And welcome to my blog =]
I am wife, mother of 3 young kiddos, a homemaker, a business woman and a breast cancer survivor.
But not so secretly anymore, I’m a luxury fashion and beauty lover too!
I launched MonniBee.Blog in the late summer of 2017 as a creative outlet for me as I was struggling with fashion inspiration during my first pregnancy.
For me, beauty and fashion have always been a means to express myself and showcase my personality.
Beauty and fashion took a more prominent role in my life when I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 32.
Even when I was dead tired from chemotherapy and radiation, my closet and make up collection provided a sense of normalcy and comfort for me. I made that Cancer Centre my cat walk and I love that about me.
Surviving cancer and adjusting to my new treatments has shown me that what I once considered a silly embarrassing hobby has merit.
We are not our clothes of the things that we own–we are much, much more than that.
But style is an important mechanism that we use to express who we are to the world.
With this blog, I’m taking my love of beauty and fashion and sharing my knowledge with this wonderful community that we’ve built!
